As parents, we enjoy the occasional outing to a baby themed restaurant. But, it also isn’t the place where we envision all our social gatherings. Especially with loud kids & sometimes louder parents. So, where to go if you want some adult time with your little one in tow? Here are some of the hippest spots in town where your under one will feel welcomed.

As mentioned in my last posting, the department store where this sibling restaurant of The Nest and The Cannery is located has a super friendly baby changing room (and a pump rest area for moms).

Traffic: Easily accessible by Metro Line 1, Huangpu Station

Sidewalk congestion: Need to be dropped on the side street Madang Lu or Huangpi S. Lu

Bathroom: 5 mins walk outside the restaurant in the mall with diaper changing room & pump room

Address: 333 Huaihai Zhong Lu, 6FL

Chinese New Year times: regular hours 11am-midnight on Feb 4th, Feb 5th-7th open 4pm-midnight (free delivery from Homeslice pizza to the tap room), Feb 8th-10th open 12pm-midnight,(limited snacks available)

Yasmine’s Steakhouse & Butcher

Every one of Yasmine’s locations has a fully functional baby changing table. Which is just perfect for an under one years old.

You got everything right here! Good beer, good food and the young crowd (under 10) are extremely well behaved. You won’t get much screaming kids here for sure! If you want to feel like a hip parent, this is your groove.

El Willy

Located at Bund 22, the whimsical restaurant is great for a family affair. Their tapas brunch (with free flow options) is the spot to go if you intend on dining for a while. Plus, the large space is a good fit for strollers. The restroom in the building is also quite comfortable for the pumping mom.
